Training to Teach Tasters will be arranged for those people who would like to find out more about our School Centred Initial Teacher Training Programme.

Day 1 in one of our Partnership Schools:

Morning:
• Meet with teacher, introduction to school and class
• Observe teaching and support learning under teacher's supervision
• Meet the staff at break time

Afternoon:
• Observe teaching and support learning under teacher's supervision

Day 2 in one of our Partnership Schools:

Morning:
• Meet with teacher to discuss the role of the teacher and teaching in Early Years
• Continue observation of class and other classes, as appropriate

Afternoon:
• Taking the reins!! Team teach, read a story or lead an activity

Attendance at a twilight session at our Centre (5pm-8pm):

• Overview of training programme
• Discussion with past and current Trainees
• Individual Guidance
• Completion of Evaluation of your Taster Experience
